Healing Touch Volunteers

Student & Practitioner Volunteers

When available, volunteers from the Healing Touch community offer treatments to individuals who may not otherwise be able to receive them.

Volunteer opportunities are available for Healing Touch students and practitioners to give treatments at Health Fairs, health screenings at the Nugget Mall, stress management events, and to individuals in their homes.

Volunteers also give presentations and demonstrations at various community events.

Bartlett Volunteer Program

Healing Touch Volunteers at Bartlett have taken at least Level I, have had five hours of formal hospital orientation as well as practice and work with supervision until they are ready to work with patients. A survey form allows patients to give feedback about their response to treatment, including pain and anxiety reduction and other comments. This is an exciting program and is growing rapidly. Volunteers are needed!
