Professionalism

Mary Szczepanski, BSN, MS, HNC, CHTP, CHTI, received a Bachelor's Degree in nursing from Cornell University and a Master's in Community Health Nursing from the University of Colorado. For over 28 years she has practiced nursing in the fields of psychiatric/mental health nursing, addictions, nursing education, and management. She is certified in Holistic Nursing and is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor.

Innovation

Mary has practiced Healing Touch since 1985 and has taught Healing Touch in numerous states. She is the founder and owner of Healing Touch Alaska where she teaches Healing Touch and related Holistic Health classes as well as providing Healing Touch treatments and helping individuals develop self care skills.

Service

Mary serves on the Certification Board of Healing Touch International. Her Holistic commitments include support for human rights and leadership in caring for the environment. She has begun several grassroots organizations in support of the environment.
